Fun ways to do Fundraising!
Being a Youth Ambassador for The Eve Appeal, which is a charity for ovarian cancer, I love doing fundraising and raising awareness. From time to time, I like to sell their beautiful heart badges for £2 to raise money. Here are some ways I do fundraising! Make a lemonade stall: Create jugs of fresh lemonade and sell it to all the thirsty people in the Summer. You can also make other drinks like ice tea or orange juice. A yard sale: Get a whole bunch of items you don’t need anymore and sell it to the people who might want it. A Cake Bake Sale: Bake a load of cakes and…

Monday’s Dinner!
Today I decided to make a very special dinner for my mum as I thought I would give her a break. I made Black Farmer chicken sausages fried with chestnut mushrooms and onions, herby potatoes and carrots with a homemade beef gravy. It was a real treat! Recipe: Serve 2 – 4 Fill a saucepan with water and bring to boil. Peel about 10 baby potatoes and 3 – 4 carrots. Cut the carrots into thirds but don’t cut the potatoes as they are tiny. Let the vegetables steam for 12-15 minutes and start to clean up your work space. Chop up 3 chestnut mushrooms and 1 onion. Fry in…

LE CORDON BLEU PARIS
Last week Thursday (when we still were in Paris), Khushi and I visited the prestige and world famous cooking school ‘Le Cordon Bleu’. This is their brand new and campus about 10-15 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. It was of course different than I expected as the picture I had in mind was the ‘Le Cordon Bleu’ I saw in the movie ‘Julie and Julia’ with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. However, I must admit I loved the school! And as Khushi is planning to join Le Cordon Bleu in 2022, I thought I would sign-up for their short courses. Both the exterior and interior is ultra modern, with…
