Boeuf Bourguignon inspired by Julia Child

So….after watching one of my favourite movies; Julie and Julia, I decided to go to the library and borrow Julia Child’s cook books; The Art of French Cooking and decided to make the famous Boeuf Bourguignon.

As we didn’t have wine and I substituted the wine with Balsamic vinegar. 

It tasted absolutely divine (according to my Mum!) and is now one of her favourite dishes.
